Church Street Gallery is an independent art gallery in the heart of Saffron Walden, run by true enthusiasts and home to an eclectic, changing display of work by a diverse group of artists.
The gallery specialises in contemporary painting and original printmaking, including linocuts, etchings and collagraphs by established and emerging artist printmakers, many of them from East Anglia. Every print is an original, printed by hand by the artist or under their supervision, then signed and numbered as part of a limited edition that will never be reprinted.
Alongside the artwork, you'll find handmade studio pottery, jewellery made in the UK and a carefully chosen range of art cards and stationery, making it a lovely place to find a unique gift. If you can't visit in person, the gallery also sells online with free UK delivery.
With regularly changing shows, there's always something new to see, and it's well worth a browse during a visit to the town.
