DEAD Time is Saffron Walden's independent craft beer and fine drinks shop, tucked away on Rose and Crown Walk just off the Market Square. The shop recently moved to bigger premises, and now has six taps serving a changing line-up of beers from near and far, to enjoy on site or take home.
The shelves are packed with a wide selection of craft beers in cans and bottles, alongside wines, ciders and small batch spirits, plus a range of alcohol free options. Everything is clearly labelled, and the owner is always happy to offer honest advice if you're not sure what to choose.
It's a relaxed, friendly spot to drop in for a drink or pick up something special, and dogs are welcome too. If you can't make it in, there's a full online shop, with free local delivery to CB10 and CB11 postcodes on orders over £20.
