A little about The Mocha Diner.
The Mocha Diner is a true Saffron Walden institution. Number 11 Central Arcade has been a café since 1964, and in 1970 it became the diner so many locals know and love today. Independent and family-run ever since, it's a place where generations of families have made memories, from the old jukebox to the pool table upstairs.
The food is freshly prepared and cooked to order using quality ingredients, with no shortcuts, just good, honest, old-fashioned cooking. There are seven breakfast sets served all day, alongside burgers and plenty of diner favourites, with ingredients sourced from local Saffron Walden businesses wherever possible.
To drink, choose from freshly ground bean-to-cup coffee and speciality drinks, beers and ciders with alcohol-free options, or treat yourself to ice cream and thickshakes in dozens of flavours. Everything on the menu is also available to take away for collection.
Tucked away in Central Arcade just off King Street, the Mocha is a relaxed, welcoming spot for a hearty breakfast, a family lunch or a milkshake with friends. High chairs are available for little ones.
